🪩 Throughout the year, we host Pop-Up Social Dance Events — sometimes at danceScape and sometimes as social outings at community partner locations — during our Spring, Summer, Fall, and Holiday terms.

Each event is a chance to relax, connect, and enjoy a fun evening of social dancing in a friendly, inclusive environment.

For events hosted at danceScape, this will be located at 2077 Pine Street in downtown Burlington and consists of our 3,000+ square foot Ballroom with dancers attending from Burlington, Hamilton, Oakville, Milton, Grimsby, Waterdown, Stoney Creek, and beyond.

Studies show that up to 80% of what you learn is forgotten within 24 hours—that’s why danceScape offers independent practice sessions in our spacious Main Ballroom. These sessions are a great way to reinforce your learning. Instructors are available on-site to assist, tutor, and help you recall steps quickly and confidently.

Practice sessions take place in the Main Ballroom at danceScape’s downtown Burlington studio. The location is surrounded by great coffee shops and restaurants—perfect for socializing before or after your practice. Pop-Up Social Events may be at partner communities and locations.

🎉 What are Practice Parties, and how are they different from regular classes?

Practice Parties are fun, guided social dance events hosted at danceScape partner venues. You’ll get to apply what you’ve learned in classes in a relaxed, party-style setting. Instructors are available to help on the dance floor, so you’ll never feel lost. These parties help prepare you for real-world social dancing—on cruises, at weddings, fundraisers, or Latin/Salsa clubs.

danceScape collaborates with community partners and local organizations to attend or host a variety of dance socials and themed nights. Past events have included:
