Private Lessons
Private lessons are ideal for Wedding Dance Preparation or Choreography, Gala Fundraising or Social Event Preparation, and Competitive Ballroom or Latin DanceSport. In addition to "pay-as-you-go" rates, discounts are available for multiple lesson packages.
Private Lessons are approximately 60 minutes in length between one instructor and a single student, or a couple. Because this is based on one-on-one training, there is more time to spend on those dance styles that interest you, as well as learning proper technique in executing your dance steps. Private lessons reinforce the goal of improving the quality of your dancing, rather than learning quantities of dance steps -- it's not what you do but also how you do it!
For those preparing for a social dance event such as a Wedding, Gala Fundraiser, or even a cruise, private lessons represent the fastest way to learn and covering those dances that are typically danced at Big Band, Salsa/Latin, or Jazz Concert events.
For those interested in competitive Ballroom Dancing, private lessons ensure that you meet Syllabus guidelines for Pre Bronze, Bronze, Silver, Gold, PreChampionship or Championship levels of Ballroom Standard (Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz, Quickstep) or Latin (Cha Cha, Rumba, Paso Doble, Samba, Jive). Pro-Am Competition Training is also available for those interested in competing as an "Amateur" with your Professional instructor.
